I probably arrived at this place via the same path as a large number of other food bloggers. I had slowly become obsessed with reading food blogs, collecting recipes, and trying new things. My kitchen cupboards are littered with printed out recipes, many of them marked up with scribbles of changes I made (does that say teaspoons or tablespoons?). My laptop has at least 200 recipes bookmarked that, of course, I’m going to get to. Eventually.
So I created this space to document my trials and (occasional) tribulations in the kitchen. As a self-proclaimed foodie, quasi-vegetarian, and registered dietitian it can be a challenge to balance my own interests with pleasing my vegetable-loathing husband and kids. When all else fails, there is one family member who absolutely adores all my cooking.
